Clay & Straw as a Key, Training Course about natural building

We are opening a call for youth workers, volunteers, and sustainability enthusiasts from Spain, Slovenia, Italy, France, Sweden, or Egypt to join our hands-on training in traditional bioconstruction!

ERASMUS+ TRAINING COURSE: Clay and Straw as a Key
️ Traditional techniques applied to contemporary construction

1st Training Course: Asturias, Spain – 16th to 23rd March 2026
2nd Training Course: Svinjsko, Slovenia – 1st to 8th July 2026
(Both events without travel days)

Organized by: Creando Floresta (Spain) & Zavod Veles (Slovenia)

This is for you if you want to:
✨ Discover and practice local, traditional building techniques using wood, clay, and straw.
✨ Learn how to adapt heritage methods to modern, sustainable construction.
✨ Connect with cultural identity through hands-on work with local resources.
✨ Become a change-maker in bioconstruction and community-based sustainability.

Project includes:

  • Two in-person training courses (Spain & Slovenia)
  • Online complementary Zoom sessions & video resources
  • Guidance to implement follow-up activities in your own community
  • Professional video production of each technique for future use

Practical Information:

For residents of ES, SI, IT, FR, SE, EG
Aged 18–45 (preferred but flexible)
Involved in youth work (volunteer or professional)
Passion for sustainability and bioconstruction
Able to work in English
Can attend both training courses + online activities
