Create your Sustainability Youth Exchange

WHAT

This online course will introduce you to the Erasmus+ programme and you will learn how to get funding for your youth exchange ideas. You will become part of a project team that will work on a concrete youth exchange project and receive dedicated mentoring with the goal of submitting a succesful application to the next Erasmus+ deadline on February 23rd.

HOW

During the first week we will explore the nuts and bolts of a succesful application, brainstorm ideas for projects and create teams that will develop them into applications. In the following 4 weeks you will get to work on an application together with other participants under the guidance of expert project writers while we will look deeper into some aspects like the activities timetable, budget, implementation and final report. To secure an optimal group dynamic, there will be a min. of 10 and a max. of 20 participants.

WHERE

The online course will take place through online ZOOM meetings and the forum will be hosted on the Yes to Sustainability website (www.yestosustainability.org). It is important for the group that you can commit to all the sessions and dedicate some extra time to prepare the application. Please keep in mind that you will need a stable internet connection.

WHEN

The course starts on Tuesday 18th of January and lasts until Thursday 17th of February. Within this timeline there will be 7 interactive zoom session and 4 mentorship and coworking sessions when you willl be able to meet with your team under the supervision of an experienced mentor. In addition to that, you will have access to a dedicated forum where you will be able to ask and get support 24/7 from other participants and our team of expert project writers.

PARTICIPATION FEE

For us it is important to have a motivated and engaged group. For this reason we decided to ask for a small participation fee that will encourage participants not to drop off between sessions. We designed this self-assessed scale, so you will choose how much you can and want to pay according to your situation and your possibilities:

30€ – Reduced fee for those with no income and/or fewer opportunities
50€ – Regular fee
70€ – Supportive fee for those who can afford to contribute for other’s participation

We don’t want anybody to be excluded from the course for financial reasons, so if even this scheme is not allowing you to join, please contact us to explore possibilities of non-monetary exchange or other forms of collaboration.

We are able to offer this course on a very reduced price as a part of the Erasmus+ project “Yes to Sustainability Partnership” to support young people to submit a succesful application for a youth exchange. You will be then in the position of starting to earn some extra-income as a youth worker and a project writer and you will get the chance to join the Yes to Sustainability, a network of sustainability enthusiasts with whom you will be able to collaborate and design projects in ecovillages and other sustainable initiatives. Don’t miss this chance!
