Leaders in Nature: Our Journey at Veles Farm:

In the heart of Slovenia, surrounded by fields, forests, and mountains, we came together at Veles Farm for a week that was not just about learning leadership, but about living it. The farm became our home, our tents, and our kitchen, where every sunrise invited new experiences and every evening closed with warmth, laughter, and celebration under the stars.

From the very first day, we were invited to connect, not only with each other, but also with ourselves and the land around us. Through games, reflection, silence, and movement, we discovered how leadership is not just about guiding others, but about listening deeply, embracing vulnerability, and creating space for growth. The farm taught us simplicity: working together in the kitchen, sorting potatoes, walking in silence through the forest, or simply sharing a meal became powerful lessons in presence and collaboration.

We explored leadership through creativity, play, and even wrestling. We reflected in solitude among trees, expressed ourselves through art and movement, and celebrated every moment with music, dance, and laughter. Each activity opened new doors: to courage, to empathy, to the joy of being fully present with one another.

But perhaps the most valuable lesson of all was the feeling of community. Whether building shelters, meditating in silence, or holding space for each other in heartfelt conversations, we realized that leadership is not a role, but a way of being-rooted in trust, respect, and connection.

As we left Veles, we carried not only memories, but also a renewed sense of ourselves as leaders. Leaders of our own lives, leaders in our communities, and leaders who understand that change begins with presence, empathy, and collaboration.

Veles farm gave us more than a training course-it gave us a glimpse of the world we want to live in, one where we lead with heart.
